The figure was flat-backed and obviously had been given a new fiber glass left arm. However, it was very unstable upon its base, which had a large crack in it anyway, so I removed the bottom section to investigate. Her left foot was the key to her instability. Running down the inside of her heel was a 3/4 inch tube of aluminium which at some time had been attached to a length of wood by fiber glass alone. This had broken free, so I drilled and bolted it to the wood.

There were various other cracks and damage that I repaired using more fiber glass and car body fillers.
