Oscar Wilde.

( 4 ft. x 3 ft. ) Oil on Panel portrait of Oscar Wilde; commissioned by a hotel in Mayfair, London.

This was created from old black and white photos of the man himself, but his buttonhole has been changed from a lily into a carnation as requested by the client. It's said that Wilde always wore a lily in honour of 'The Jersey Lily' ( Mrs. Lily Langtry).
